The Beetle will be imported from the Volkswagen’s Mexico based firm .The car will cost around 20 lacs Indian rupees. By looking at the car’s size & its pricing a person can say that it will be the most expensive luxurious small car in country & it will not compete with the small cars but with the sedans.

If we look into its features The Beetle will be having the 1.9 litre TDI diesel engine with 5-speed manual transmissions. Along with the comfortable interior & smooth drive train the beetle will be having rain sensor, cruise control & parking sensor to ensure a better parking even in small parking spaces. In the point of view for safety the beetle will be having traction control, ABS, standard front & side bags & anti-skid system.

By looking at the price we can say that the Volkswagen is going to bring this car for making a powerful brand in country rather than making no. of sales.

The Volkswagen motors have said that they are also thinking to launch The POLO very soon in India. At this time the beetle is in improvement for the Indian customers.
