After the launch of Laura, Skoda has now decided to launch its compact SUV to India known as Yeti, in 2010.

The Skoda Yeti is a 5 door Compact SUV measuring  4.2 meter in length possessing an attractive front equipped with ridged grill & elegant  headlights !Having a Robust the Yeti is supported on 17” wheels. Due to the trendy & high seating position the Yeti looks like a lighter vehicle rather than a bulky model!

The Yeti is having a front petrol engine of 1.2 litre capacity having 4 cylinders & provides 105 bhp (77 kw).In short it is very nice to see that such small engine with lesser capacity providing high power of 105 bhp!The Yeti will also be available in Diesel variant engine!

The luggage compartment of the Yeti is very flexible ,it  can be varied by removing the rear seats !The maximum capacity of the luggage compartment is 1760 litres along with the luggage cover & net for supporting the extra load!
So we can say that this car can fit itself with very good positioning for Long trip as well as Off -road drive!
The basic model of the Yeti will be priced in 10 lac Indian Rupees (showroom price).
That’s how The Yeti is a cheaper alternative to the Honda CR-V,Chevrolet Captiva & Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara

My comments: As it is a compact SUV so looking on the narrow streets & variable conditions of Indian roads the Yeti will be really very easy to steer for a comfortable drive!
