When it comes to Renault, the only thought that comes on the mind is the past formula 1 era, Renault was the pioneer during the turbo era in formula 1 races which began in 1977 and last up to 1988 using 1.5 litre engines  and created a whooping power in the range of 600-1000bhp. Renault is very famous and it’s known for producing one of the most consistent and efficient formula 1 engines, since the mid-70s it was the best one to create turbo charged engine and it also won a Grand Prix in 1979. Post-turbo era, the Williams-Renaults and the Benettons with their Renault engines conquered every race and they proved themselves best in early 1990s in Formula 1.Renault has never been famous only for producing cars used in sports; it has a long history in automobiles as well. During 1898, the Renault Voiturette (Renault’s Little Car) was Renault’s first production car. Thereafter many successful models like Renault 5 which was launched in 1972 and later it was renamed to Super 5 with a transverse engine.

In 1999, Renault publicly announced the Logan which was the finial product manufactured under the project X90, Later the French auto giant purchased the Romanian auto manufacturer Dacia in 1998.The Logan was manufactured with a view of selling at a reasonable price and also added some simple features to minimize the cost .The Logan was launched and introduced in India in june 2007, in association with Mahindra & Mahindra motors which helped them to reduce production costs. This was the first Logan with a steering on the right side and was made suitable to be driven on the Indian roads.

. The Mahindra-Renault Logan underwent few changes that gave it a sporty look and now it is available with many new advanced features.
